About me
Early on, I had no idea what to do with my life. I just knew that I did not want to randomly flow through life, like everyone else. I got into Marketing quite serendipitously. Took accountability for business problems that interested me, and followed through on all of them to desired outcomes.
But “marketing” is too broad. It involves a whole gamut of things. A sort of restlessness began to grow within me - I started asking myself how I’m uniquely different than all the other marketers out there. Turns out, it relates to trust and emotional resonance (wrote a detailed post here after 7 years of soul searching).
To be fair, I did develop judgement in the process. But that judgement is too bound to the culture and the game that is already being played — the game of strategy, tactics, channels, ads, attention, and so on…
The problem with that game is that it’s short-lived; it does not truly captivate the hearts of humans. The true game lies in understanding human nature, their mind, what moves them, and why they behave the way they do.
And so, through this website, I aim to document my curiosity in an unblemished way.
